Do you specialize in any particular breeds or types of dogs?
At Mr. Paw Portraits, we don't specialize in specific breeds or types of dogs. Our passion lies in capturing the unique qualities of every furry friend, regardless of their breed. We believe that every dog deserves a moment in the spotlight.

Can we bring props or accessories for the photo shoot?

Absolutely! At Mr. Paw Portraits, we welcome the inclusion of your dog's favorite props or accessories in the photo shoot. Whether it's a frisbee, stuffed animal, ball, or any cherished item, we're more than happy to work with them to capture unique and meaningful moments. Our goal is to make the photo session a reflection of your dog's personality and preferences. Bring along whatever your dog loves, and we'll ensure it becomes a delightful part of the photography experience. Choose us for a personalized and enjoyable session that incorporates the things your dog loves most
What does the process look like?
Our process begins with a consultation, during which we get to know your dog and understand the vision you have for the artwork. Together, we'll determine the ideal day, time, and location for the photoshoot, and you'll have the opportunity to explore our range of offerings.
Once everything is arranged, we'll proceed with the photoshoot, which typically lasts 30-60 minutes. After the shoot, you can expect the big reveal within 5-7 days. This is an exciting moment where we'll present a gallery of around 20-25 carefully curated photos. We'll discuss each image, and if you're satisfied with any, you can place orders for wall art, prints, or other mediums offered. Payment is required during this session.
Following the reveal, we'll make final touch-ups to the chosen photos before delivering your artwork to a location of your choice. Our aim is to ensure your complete satisfaction every step of the way, offering personalized service from consultation to delivery, all in a manner that suits your comfort and preferences.
Do You Work With Challenging Dogs?

Mr. Paw Portraits specializes in dogs that may be too shy, reactive, or that may have other restrictions that make taking photos in public challenging. Before I will talk to you about your dogs needs, and decide what location will be suited for you and your dog to feel comfortable and relaxed to capture the best and most authentic portraits of them.
Will I Be Able to Be in the Photos with My Dog?
Of course! I encourage you and any family member you choose to be included in the portraits. Capturing the bond between you and your dog is a special part of Mr. Paw Portraits.
Do You Photograph Cats?
Yes, I am happy to photograph your cat(s). If your cat is more like a Garfield cat versus a hide-on-top-of-the-fridge-when-guests-come-over cat, then I think they would love the experience. I ensure a comfortable and enjoyable pet photography session for all pets.
How Far Will You Travel for a Session?
Your session fee includes traveling up to 45 miles from Fort Lauderdale. If you are outside of this area, additional travel fees apply. Sometimes I go on Pet Photo Friendly Road Trips, which means I announce when I will be in a specific area and we can schedule sessions accordingly. If you have any questions about a session location, don't hesitate to contact me directly.
Do You Offer Senior Sessions?
Yes, I do. If you have an unwell or elderly pet, I will prioritize my schedule for you and customize the session based on your pet’s needs. These sessions are typically taken in your home to make your pet feel as comfortable as possible. It's important to cherish every moment we have with them.
Will You Be Able to Photograph My Black Dog?
Absolutely! Black dogs can be challenging to photograph, but I have the experience and know-how to make your black dog look stunning. I use my expertise to capture the personality and beauty of all dogs, including black dogs, in professional portraits.
What Types of Artwork Do You Offer?
I use professional photo labs with award-winning reputations to craft the highest quality artwork. I offer framed prints, metals, acrylics, canvases, beautiful albums, blankets, and other cool stuff, all of which come ready to hang on your wall. I also include free shipping to your home, so all you need to do is unwrap your artwork, hang it, and enjoy!
Do You Sell Digital Files?
Social media resolution digital files are included with all the images purchased. Full resolution digital files of ordered images are included in many of my packages. I believe that your dog's photos deserve to live outside of just your phone and social media. I want to help you get artwork of your pup up on your walls to show off the legends that they are!
Do You Also Take Video?
Yes, I will make you a cinematic film of you and your dog in whatever location you are comfortable with. I will capture action shots, relaxing shots, and maybe even a drone shot. We are creative here at Mr. Paw Portraits, and we will think of a beautiful story to tell of your dog and yourself so you can cherish your pet forever.
Do You Take Commercial Pictures or Pictures for Dog Events?
Yes, I do. I frequently take photos at dog events and coordinate the details with event organizers beforehand. Additionally, I offer commercial pet photography services for businesses, including marketing materials, advertisements, and promotional content.
