As a pet photographer based in Fort Lauderdale, I get to capture the joyful moments shared between pets and their owners. Recently, I had the chance to participate in a heartwarming event at MAVO Hair Lounge, which teamed up with Everglades Angels Dog Rescue to support a wonderful cause. The event was filled with fun, laughter, and, of course, plenty of adorable dogs.

The Cause: Everglades Angels Dog Rescue
Everglades Angels Dog Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating abandoned and neglected dogs in the Everglades region. Their mission is to provide these animals with the care and love they deserve, and ultimately, find them forever homes. The partnership with MAVO Hair Lounge was a perfect match, as both organizations share a passion for community and animal welfare.
The Event Highlights
The event was a delightful mix of activities and interactions. Clients of MAVO Hair Lounge, as well as other attendees, had the chance to play with and admire the dogs, some of whom were up for adoption. It was heartwarming to see the smiles on people’s faces as they bonded with the animals. Many brought their own dogs, adding to the joyful atmosphere. Meanwhile, inside the lounge, clients were pampered with exceptional hair services, enjoying the best of both worlds as they got their hair done and spent time with the adorable pups. The combination of stylish makeovers and playful pets created a truly unique and uplifting experience for everyone involved.
